Nundah Nundah is located in inner-northern Brisbane, around 8km from the CBD. Suburbs surrounding Nundah include Toombul, Kedron & Virginia. The population of Nundah was just over 8,000 at the last census. Nundah Village is probably the suburb's most dominant feature, the strip has many restaurants, real estate agencies and other small shops. Creation of the Village was greatly helped by the building of a tunnel which turned the otherwise busy section of Sandgate Rd into a much nicer shopping strip. There is also the large Centro Toombul shopping centre only 5 minutes to the south. Public transport in Nundah is covered by the Nundah and Toombul train stations as well as plenty of council buses. By road the trip from Nundah into the CBD is around 20 minutes, but is considerably longer during peak hour. The Brisbane International and Domestic airports are also within a 15 minute drive. The suburb's proximity to the CBD and airport, good local schools, the ever improving Village strip and quality stock of big old homes prime for renovation means Nundah should continue to remain a strong area for property.
